Our History

2012

Foundation

Online Tech University was founded in Belgrade, Serbia by a group of technology experts and educational visionaries who recognized the need for specialized technology education in the region.

2014

First Graduating Class

The university celebrated its first graduating class of 120 students across three pioneering programs: Computer Science, Data Analytics, and Digital Design.

2016

Campus Expansion

Online Tech University expanded its campus with the opening of the Innovation Center, a state-of-the-art facility designed to foster collaboration between students, faculty, and industry partners.

2018

International Recognition

The university received its first international accreditation and established exchange programs with leading technical universities in Europe and North America.

2020

Virtual Learning Platform

In response to global challenges, Online Tech University launched its comprehensive virtual learning platform, setting new standards for online education in the region.

2022

Strategic Vision 2030

Online Tech University celebrated its 10th anniversary with the launch of the Strategic Vision 2030, outlining ambitious goals for research, education, and global impact.

Today

Today, Online Tech University stands as Serbia's leading technology university with over 3,500 students, 250+ faculty members, and partnerships with tech industry leaders across Europe and beyond.

University Leadership

Dr. Milan Jovanović

President

Dr. Jovanović has led Online Tech University since its founding in 2012. With a background in computer science and over 20 years of experience in academia and the tech industry, he brings a unique blend of technical expertise and strategic vision to the university.

Dr. Ana Petrović

Provost

As Provost, Dr. Petrović oversees all academic programs and faculty affairs. Her research in artificial intelligence and commitment to educational innovation have been instrumental in shaping Online Tech University's curriculum.
